Eli Carnahan: Lighting Designer

Eli Carnahan studied Theatrical Design at North Greenville University where he earned his BA in May 2017. He also attended the Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas' 10th summer intensive (SILV 2016) where he received the Seals of Qualification in Special Effects, Lighting Technology, and Lighting Programming.

His design credits include theatrical, concert, and church productions. One of his favorite designs was the Lighting and Set Design for the world premiere of Nora's House, an experimental adaptation of Ibsen's A Doll's House, for which he earned the KCACTF Meritorious Achievement Award for Excellence in Design

Eli has worked at the regional level as a Lighting Designer and Master Electrician since his graduation. He is currently an MFA candidate for Lighting Design at the University of Florida.
